The Friends of Calhoun County Dog Parks Committee

Management of the Home Run Dog Park

The Friends of Calhoun County Dog Parks Committee was established in 2018, and through their planning and fundraising established the Home Run Dog Park which opened in August 2019.

The committee members today continue to manage, organize volunteers and coordinate with the City of Battle Creek Parks and Recreation Department, Police Department and Animal Control on maintaining the park and enforcement of the rules and ordinances.

Although not all of the founding members are still with the committee, and there are new members who joined since the grand opening, the organization still maintains and manages the Home Run Dog Park through an operating agreement with the City of Battle Creek with the original purpose and goals.
