Entering the Home Run Dog Park

The Home Run Dog Park has three double gated entrances along the Linear Path, a paved walking path that follows the Southern fence line of the dog park.

There is a West entrance which has parking close to the intersection of Roosevelt Ave and Capital Ave NE, and the East entrance which has parking where Roosevelt Ave turns a corner and becomes Wagner Drive.  There is also a Central entrance to the park about half way between the West and East gate entrances near the pavillion if you follow the Linear Path.  (Note: The Linear Path and the Central and East gated entrances are handicap accessible.)

If you are wanting to use the small dog section of the park (reserved for dogs under 25 lbs only) the entrance to this section is on the East entrance.  You may enter the large dog area from any of the three gated entrances.

Your dogs will need to be on a leash from the parking lots to the gated entrances.  When entering the Home Run Dog Park with your dog, please close the first gate you enter before you open the second one.  Always close and latch the gates behind you.
