Welcome to the Home Run Dog Park!

The Home Run Dog Park, which opened in August 2019, was a a community project spearheaded by the founding members of the 'Friends of Calhoun County Dog Parks'. This volunteer organization, founded in 2018, formed with the vision of creating safe spaces for dogs to play and the community to gather. A community funded project, residents and businesses joined forces and donated to the project which obtained matching funds from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. In partnership with the City of Battle Creek and Calhoun County, the purpose was to develop a beautiful, well-maintained space open to all dogs, dog lovers and friends. Together we made this possible!
