The City of Battle Creek has partnered with DocuPet to make pet licensing easily obtainable and affordable.

You can apply for a license online at this website:

Note: In order to use this method for obtaining your dog license, you must live within the City limits of Battle Creek.  If you live in Pennfield Township, Emmett Township or Springfield, you be required to apply for a Calhoun County license.

If you live in Calhoun County

If you live outside of the City of Battle Creek, but still in Calhoun County, you must register through the County website.

The website for Calhoun County is:

MIDogLicense.Org/CalhounCounty

Apply through this site if you live anywhere outside of the City of Battle Creek in Calhoun County.  This includes Pennfield Township, Emmett Township and Springfield.

Note: If you live outside of Calhoun County, you will need to obtain a license from the City or County you reside in to use the Home Run Dog Park.  Dog licensing as a common standard requires dogs to get a rabies shot.  You will need to have evidence of a dog license either through a tag or paperwork from the municipality, County or State you are traveling from.
