Would you like to volunteer as a Home Run Dog Park ambassador?
The ambassador program is for those who want to volunteer on their own time, and support the rules, safety and integrity of the Home Run Dog Park.
To become an ambassador, you must take four steps:
Step One
You must be 16 years or older.
Then you must decide that you love dogs, and want to help to maintain a safe environment for them in the Home Run Dog Park.

Great! Then move onto the next step!
Step Two
Study the Home Run Dog Park Rules, and receive a passing score on the Course (which is a 20 question quiz).
When you do that you will be able to move on and study the Home Run Dog Park Etiquette material. When you are ready, you can then take the Course (another 20 question quiz).

When you recieve a passing score on both courses, you can go to the next step!

Step Three
Agree to volunteer at least five hours a month by going to the Home Run Dog Park and acting in the capacity as an ambassador during your visit. You may bring your dog with you.
What? You get to take your dog to the park five times a month and volunteer at the same time? Can you hear that tail thumping on the floor yet?
As a trained ambassador, you must be willing to appoach people who are not following the rules, and using what you learned on your training in step two, remedy the situation.
You must also agree to volunteer at one scheduled volunteer day a year in the dog park to help with clean up, repairs and maintenance alongside the other Home Run Dog Park ambassadors.

Step Four
Purchase the Home Run Dog Park Ambassador gear of your choice to wear at the dog park when you are volunteering. This gear is exclusive to members of the Ambassador program, and may not be worn by anyone else.
You will be given a special certification number upon completion which you will need to enter to purchase from this special collection.
Best of all, ambassadors will recieve a special 10% discount on all other regular items in the Home Run Dog Park store for being part of the program!
