Interested in holding an event at the Home Run Dog Park?
Special events can be held in the pavillion in the Home Run Dog Park, or inside the enclosure. All events must be approved by the Friends of Calhoun County Dog Parks Committee, who oversees the calendar for and manages the the Home Run Dog Park.
To request an event, please fill out the form below. Some types of events are prohibited in the park.
Prohibited events include:
- Any event that would violate any of the posted rules of the Home Run Dog Park (i.e. bringing in food, children under age 10, being inside the park outside of open hours, etc.)
- Any event that would violate the City of Battle Creek Ordinance on Parks and Public Grounds (i.e. Bringing in alcohol, fireworks, Firearms, motor vehicles, etc.)
- Any event that would interrupt the normal use, function or purpose of the dog park as a safe place for dogs to run off-leash.
- Any event that could result in property damge to the park or injury to people or dogs.
