Can I leave my dog at the dog park and go run some errands?

A.Yes, but you must get a special permit from City Hall before you do.

B.Only if it is less than an hour.

C.Just make sure there is water and it is wearing dog tags.

D.Yes. Just make sure you come back for it before sunset.

E.No. Your dog must be within your sight and under your control at all times when using the dog park. Dogs must be accompanied by their owner at all times.

Can small dogs under 25 lbs play in the large dog area?

A.Yes, but they must remain on a leash or be carried by their owners inside the large dog area.

B.Yes. However, owners of small dogs are encouraged to use the small dog only area, as it may be dangerous for them to interact with larger dogs.

C.Small dogs under 25 lbs are not permitted anywhere in the dog park.

D.No. They must remain in the small dog area if they are under 25 lbs.

If my dog is in heat, can I bring her to the dog park if she wears a diaper?

A.Yes. But we recommend you talk to your vet for approval.

B.Only if it is kept in the small dog area and will remain in that part of the enclosure.

C.No. You can only bring a female dog to the Home Run Dog Park if it is spayed.

D.Yes. There are no restrictions on dogs in heat at the Home Run Dog Park.

E.No. Dogs in heat are prohibited.

Can I smoke cigarettes at the dog park?

A.Yes, just not in the pavillion.

Who is responsible for picking up the dog poop at the Home Run Dog Park?

B.The City Parks and Recreation Department comes every Monday and picks up poop.

C.Owners must pick up the poop left by their dog and dispose of it in the appropriate receptacles at the park.

D.No one does. It becomes fertilizer for the lawn.

E.Volunteers come every weekend and pick up the poop year round.
